A new textile developed by schoeller® on the basis of nanotechnology. Effortlessly resists water, particles of dirt and even oily and greasy substances. The NanoSphere® technology makes use of a natural phenomenon which keeps certain plant leaves, insect wings or beetle shells clean, because dirt and water cannot stick to their structure surfaces. A similar structure is created using nano-technology. Textile surfaces with the NanoSphere® fnish achieve outstanding runoff values for wetness, dirt and spots, without a loss of breathability. This also makes the fabrics extremely easy to clean. Products that use this technology are more robust and durable and yet retain a very natural grip and appearance. The combination of the unique schoeller®-dryskin extreme and NanoSphere® make the robust fabric especially water and dirt repellent and is ideal for mountain sports activities.
